ShelterBox, the leading international disaster relief charity, delivers humanitarian relief in the form of equipment and materials that bring shelter, warmth and dignity to people made homeless by natural or other disasters worldwide. Shelter Box is respected for its integrity and impartiality, twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and often looked to by the United Nations Human Refugee Counsel to provide aid in the most difficult countries around the world. In 2012 Shelter Box became Rotary International's first Project Partner and only disaster relief charity. This agreement enables both organizations to collaborate more closely to bring relief and temporary shelter to survivors of disasters worldwide. The financial support from Rotarians and clubs like the Rotary Club of Casa Grande make up a significant proportion of donations received by Shelter Box.
Thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Casa Grande, several families who have been displaced by a natural or manmade disaster, will receive help and hope for a safer future.
